World Zombie Day London

World Zombie Day, celebrating 40 years since George A Romero’s Night of the Living Dead film was released.

Well, no one really batted an eye when this army of undead took to the streets of central London today. I couldn’t believe it, but then this IS London, where anything seems to go. If an alien spaceship landed with zig and zog walking out, with full head to toe purple sparkly spacesuits and wandered into the nearest branch of borders (Charing Cross Road) and asked for a tea bag, I think no one would actually notice.
I couldn’t get near the start at midday at marble arch, as there were just too many film crews and photographers running around everyone. I caught up with them later, at The Intrepid Fox, just off Tottenham Court Road, where the bloody group that were left, were celebrating at the end of a hard day’s Zombie recruiting, with brains, beer and vodka.
